Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Important: These are standard-style terms for a UK courier services business. For full legal compliance, have a solicitor review before publishing.
1. Service Role
ParcelGB acts as a booking platform and intermediary between the customer and third-party carriers. Physical transportation is performed by the carrier and carrier-specific terms may apply.
2. Booking & Payment
- All shipments must be paid in full before dispatch.
- Customers must provide accurate parcel details (weight, dimensions, contents, addresses).
- Misdeclared parcels may incur surcharges, re-labelling fees, or rejection by the carrier.
3. Packaging Requirements
Customers must package items appropriately for transit and automated handling. ParcelGB and the carrier are not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging.
4. Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates unless explicitly sold as guaranteed. ParcelGB is not responsible for delays caused by weather, customs, operational disruption, incorrect addresses, or events outside reasonable control.
5. Customs & International Shipping
For international shipments, customers are responsible for accurate customs declarations. Duties and taxes may be payable by the recipient unless otherwise agreed.
6. Liability & Compensation
Compensation is limited by the selected service level and carrier terms. ParcelGB is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption.
7. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Customers must not ship prohibited items. See the Prohibited Items page for guidance. ParcelGB may refuse non-compliant shipments.
8. Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted within carrier timeframes and with supporting evidence (proof of value, photos, etc.). Failure to follow the process may invalidate claims.
9. Account Suspension
ParcelGB may suspend or terminate accounts where fraud is suspected, prohibited goods are shipped, chargebacks occur, or these terms are breached.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
